Rodwell and Pienaar doubtful for Toffees

Everton have doubts over midfielders Jack Rodwell and Steven Pienaar for Sunday’s trip to Burnley.

The pair were both hurt in last night’s Europa League play off first-leg win over Sigma Olomouc at Goodison Park, with Rodwell scoring twice in the 4-0 success.

Rodwell has a twisted knee while Pienaar picked up a foot injury. Everton are also unlikely to have Joleon Lescott back in the squad after he was dropped against the Czech Republic outfit for his poor attitude.
