Lawrence: Delap 'desperate' to play for Ireland

Republic of Ireland winger Liam Lawrence has said that his Stoke teammate Rory Delap is desperate to get back into the international fold.

Speaking after training with the national squad today in Tipperary, Lawrence said: "I have spoken to him (Delap) and he is obvoiusly deperate to get back (to the Irish squad). He wants to be involved."
