Republic of Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady has said that former Ireland manager Mick McCarthy had “thrown them a dummy” over the availability of Kevin Doyle for the Republic of Ireland’s friendly against Australia on Wednesday.

Republic of Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady has said that former Ireland manager Mick McCarthy had “thrown them a dummy” over the availability of Kevin Doyle for the Republic of Ireland’s friendly against Australia on Wednesday.

Speaking after the team trained in St Michael’s in Tipperary today, Brady said that Doyle would be able to play for 45 minutes on Wednesday.
