Megson prepared to sell Shittu

Bolton manager Gary Megson has indicated he is prepared to listen to offers for Danny Shittu.

The defender has struggled to break into the team after moving from Watford last summer.

The arrival of Zat Knight has pushed Shittu further down the pecking order and he did not feature in the 1-1 draw against Hearts last night.

Megson told the Bolton News: “There is quite a bit of interest in Danny and we will see if it materialises into anything more concrete.”
