Galway United and Sligo Rovers go head-to-head in tonight’s League of Ireland Premier Division clash at Terryland Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

United boss Ian Foster hopes to call on the services of Shane Fitzgerald as the winger has overcome a long-term ankle problem and more recently a virus.

Fitzgerald put in a full week of training and is expected to be named in the squad.

Iarfhlaith Davoren has recovered from a foot injury that kept him out of the starting 11 last Friday and is in line to start.

Sligo travel without Stephen Feeney, Stephen Parkhouse and Richie Ryan who are all injured.

Gavin Peers should return for Paul Cook’s Rovers after missing last weekend’s victory against St Patrick’s Athletic.
