Derry City set sights on third spot

A win for Derry City over Bohemians would see the Candystripes move into third place in the League of Ireland Premier Division, kick-off 7pm.

City will be buoyed after their midweek away draw against Skonto Riga but boss Stephen Kenny is likely to rest a few key players ahead of the return leg on Thursday.

Derry will travel without Kevin Deery (calf), Liam Kearney (ankle) and Mark McChrystal (cheek bone) who are all recovering from injuries.

Bohemians boss Pat Fenlon is also likely to rest some key players ahead of their important home clash with Red Bull Salzburg in Dalymount Park on Wednesday.

So Anto Murphy may be in line to start for the Gypsies after coming on as a sub for Bohs in Wednesday's impressive draw in Austria.

Glenn Cronin, Jason McGuinness and Sean Byrne are all injured for Bohs and will not feature.
