Rovers back in Tolka Park for Sligo clash
Shamrock Rovers return to Tolka Park for their home fixture against Sligo Rovers in tonight's League of Ireland Premier Division clash, kick-off 7pm.
The Hoops had to move away from their new home Tallaght Stadium as the South Dublin County Council closed the stadium as preparation continues for the visit of Real Madrid on Monday, against the wishes of Shamrock Rovers and the FAI.
For Rovers, Sean O’Connor is serving a one-match suspension, while long-term injury keeps Sean Webb sidelined – otherwise the Hoops are at full strength for the game against Sligo Rovers.
Hoops boss Michael O’Neill said: "Ollie Cahill, Stephen Bradley and Darragh Maguire are all back in contention, so we’re in pretty good shape at the moment.
"Obviously we want to keep our good run going, but we are also aware that Sligo Rovers will be very keen to get something from this game, so it won’t be easy.
"Despite the distraction of the hype that surrounds next Monday’s friendly against Real Madrid at Tallaght Stadium, all we’re concentrating on is this crucial game against Sligo."
Sligo travel to Dublin without Stephen Parkhouse and Gavin Peers, who are both still injured.
Steve Feeney is also ruled out for Paul Cook's side as he picked up a groin injury last weekend.
