Galway United manager Ian Foster is without the suspended Jay O’Shea, Michael McGrath and Shane Guthrie for the visit of Dundalk to Terryland Park on Friday night, kick-off 7.45pm.

United are boosted with the return of Alan Murphy and Shane Fitzgerald to the squad, although winger Derek O’Brien remains a doubt with a hamstring injury.

Declan Edwards has also moved back to Stockport County after his loan spell expired.

Dundalk boss Sean Connor will be without the suspended Michael Daly who serves an automatic one-match ban as a result of his red card against Bohs.

Declan O‘Brien and Michael Synnott both left the club on loan deals in midweek, however, the Lilywhites will be boosted by new signings Kevin McKinlay, Michael McGowan and Paul McAreavey once international clearance is received.

Darren Mansaram should also be available after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of the Derry City match.
