Roberto Martinez is set to make his third signing as Wigan manager as the Latics close in on Swansea striker Jason Scotland.

Although the Latics have refused to comment on the report a £3m bid has been accepted by the Swans, Martinez’s former club, it is understood negotiations are at an advanced stage.
