Drogheda confirm Bates and McGill signings

Striker Guy Bates has rejoined Drogheda United after being released by RAA Louvieroise in Belgium at the end of their season, the club said today.

Brendan McGill, meanwhile, has also linked up with the Drogs after being released by Blue Square Premier side Barrow.

The midfielder has previously played for Bohemians and Gretna in Scotland.
