Ronaldo passes Real medical

Cristiano Ronaldo has successfully completed his medical with Real Madrid this afternoon, the Primera Division club have confirmed.

Ronaldo landed at Madrid airport just after midday today before heading to the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja for his medical as he puts the finishing touches on his world-record £80m from Manchester United.

The 24-year-old has agreed a six-year contract with Madrid and will be presented at the Bernabeu this evening at 9pm local time (10pm Irish time), with an estimated 80,000 spectators set to be in attendance.
