Drogs off the bottom after win over St Pat's

Shane Barrett’s first goal of the season lifted Drogheda off the foot of the table as St. Pat’s lost skipper and top striker Mark Quigley with a suspected broken jaw.

Striker Barrett scored what proved the game's only goal on 31st minutes when he neatly finished off Jamie Duffy’s cross.

Things got worse for St. Pat’s on six minutes when Quigley suffered his injury in a collision with Drogheda keeper Paul Skinner.
