Barry fine after training incident

England midfielder Gareth Barry was due to resume training today ahead of the World Cup qualifier with Kazhakstan in Almaty.

Barry was involved in a collision with another England player during a training session at the Central Stadium yesterday evening.

But the other squad member is understood not to have been his former Aston Villa team-mate, Bolton’s Gary Cahill who was called up as a late replacement for the injured Rio Ferdinand.

And Barry, Manchester City’s new £12m capture from Villa, has no issue or axe to grind over the incident ahead of tomorrow’s match.
