Shamrock Rovers v Dundalk

Shamrock Rovers will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing home draw with Drogheda on Saturday when they welcome Dundalk to Tallaght Stadium for the first time tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Skipper Shane Robinson (hamstring) is doubtful for the Hoops, otherwise manager Michael O’Neill has a full-strength squad at his disposal.

O'Neill said: "Shane is a little bit away from being 100% fit, but he could come into consideration. Stephen Bradley will be back from suspension. We missed him against Dogheda.

“Rovers have only been beaten once away from home this season, and our home form is the reason why there is a gap between ourselves and the teams above us.

“We were very disappointed that we threw way two points against Drogheda on Saturday and we’re determined to make amends against Dundalk.”

Dundalk travel with a full squad and manager Sean Connor knows that his side need to start winning games and scoring goals.

Connor said: "It will get more concerning the longer it goes on, and the thing about strikers is that strikers feed on confidence.

"The fact that we're creating the chances is good. It would be easy to panic now but we've just got to keep them going as a squad and keep them working."
