Linfield captain arrested during Spanish trip

The captain of the North's most successful football team has been arrested during a stag trip to Spain.

Linfield skipper William 'Winkie' Murphy was arrested in Torremolinos on Friday night and is still being held today.

Two years ago, Murphy was arrested after being caught up in a fake cash scam while attending another stag party on the island of Majorca, but returned to the North after being bailed.

Friday's arrest is believed to be linked to this incident.
