Davis strike gives Rangers lead at the break
Rangers 1 Celtic 0
A Steven Davis goal gave Rangers the interval advantage in their crunch Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
There was 37 minutes gone in an even Clydesdale Bank Premier League game when the Northern Ireland midfielder stabbed a Kenny Miller cross past Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc from close range.
Steven Whittaker earlier hit the post with a wicked inswinging cross, while Davis was on hand to clear a Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink header off the line just before the break.
