Arsenal director Stan Kroenke yesterday continued to invest in the club, increasing his stake in the Gunners to 28.3%.

The American businessman, the club’s single largest stakeholder ahead of Uzbek billionaire Alisher Uzmanov, last year accepted an invitation to join the club’s board and today his company bought 4,839 shares from members of the Carr family, including Arsenal director Richard Carr.
