Beattie set to play for crunch relegation six-pointer

Stoke striker James Beattie will be fit to take his place in what is almost certain to be an unchanged side for the Premier League relegation battle at home to Blackburn.

Beattie has given the thumbs up despite needing 12 stitches to repair a head wound after a challenge by Newcastle defender Sebastien Bassong last weekend.
