McCaffrey names squad for Poland friendlies

Republic of Ireland under-17 manager Sean McCaffrey has announced a 20-man squad to take on Poland in a two friendly ties next week.

United Park in Drogheda will play host to the first game on Tuesday, while Tallaght Stadium is the venue for the second tie on Thursday.

A number of players who competed in Qatar in November last year have been included in the Irish squad, including Monaghan United’s Aaron McCarey, Belvedere defender Sean Skelly and Newcastle’s Stephen Folan.

Striker Ryan Connolly is also included having played every game at under-17 level this season.
