Bohs face Kenna's St Pat's without striker Fenn

St Patrick’s Athletic travel to Dalymount Park to face Bohemians today and manager Jeff Kenna says he is looking for a performance to get their season back on track.

St Patrick’s Athletic travel to Dalymount Park to face Bohemians today and manager Jeff Kenna says he is looking for a performance to get their season back on track.

Successive defeats to Bray Wanderers and Derry City have brought the Saints’ early season momentum to a halt but a result at Dalymount could be the tonic they need.

Kenna said: “There’s no doubt we’ll be looking for a vast improvement from what we showed on Tuesday night which simply wasn’t good enough.

“This is a Dublin Derby, a big game and the players pride is at stake so we’ll be looking to put in a performance that reflects that.”

Ryan Guy may return for Saints after missing out on Tuesday night with a calf injury.

Mark Leech, Gary Dempsey and Bobby Ryan will all be out for the foreseeable future but Gareth O’Connor (thigh), Stephen Maher (knee) and Gints Freimanis are approaching full fitness.

Bohemians will have to plan without injured striker Neale Fenn, while midfielder Gary Deegan also misses out through suspension.

Bohs boss Pat Fenlon said: “Their form away has been better than their form at home, and I know they were disappointed with their performance on Tuesday.

“They'll be aiming to improve against us. This is a Dublin derby and we know that Dublin derbies are never easy.”
