Villa committed to Valencia

Valencia striker David Villa intends to see out his six-year contract at the Mestalla – even if Los Che fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The 27-year-old Spain forward last summer committed himself to the club until 2014 but that has not stopped speculation linking him with a big-money move to the likes of Chelsea – who are believed to be preparing a bid – Real Madrid or Barcelona.
