Blackburn striker Jason Roberts will be out for three weeks with a stress fracture of his foot.

The 31-year-old Grenada international came off at half-time after sustaining the injury in Saturday’s victory over Tottenham.

An MRI scan has revealed the extent of the problem but it will not require surgery and the club are hopeful he will be back in action before the end of the month.

The striker has scored five goals in 13 Barclays Premier League matches since manager Sam Allardyce took over in mid-December.
