Latvian steers Cork back to winning ways
Cork City 2 Bray Wanderers 1
In-form striker Guntars Silagalis scored twice as Cork got back to winning ways after two narrow defeats.
Bray’s hopes were dashed once they had midfielder Daryl Robson sent off after just 20 minutes for a second booking.
Six minutes later Silagalis headed City in front.
The big Latvian, who also scored in the defeat at Derry last week, added a second on 59 minutes.
Former Cork midfielder Dave Mulcahy got a goal back for Bray four minutes later, but City held out for a much needed win.
