Hughes encouraged after strategy meeting

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes intends to “drive the club forward at pace” after a strategy meeting with club executives this week.

Because of the money behind City since the takeover by the Abu Dhabi United Group in August, Hughes has been under pressure to deliver in his first season in charge.
