Hull manager Phil Brown made five changes for his side’s visit to face Wigan at the JJB Stadium.

Out of the team which lost 2-1 to Arsenal in their midweek cup tie went goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, Ian Ashbee, Peter Halmosi, Nick Barmby and Anthony Gardner.

They were replaced by Matt Duke, Michael Turner – who passed a fitness test - former Wigan midfielder Kevin Kilbane, Bernard Mendy and Dean Marney.

Wigan made one change with Antonio Valencia’s hamstring injury seeing him replaced by Hugo Rodallega from the side which won at Sunderland last weekend.
