Tevez affair: No legal action from Wigan
Wigan have rejected suggestions they are to pursue legal action against West Ham to recover Barclays Premier League prize money they may have missed out on, in light of the Carlos Tevez affair.
West Ham agreed to pay Sheffield United £25m this week in an out-of-court settlement to apparently end the saga over the eligibility of Tevez, who helped the Hammers stay up in 2007 at the Blades’ expense.
