Goalkeeper earns point for Bray

Goalkeeper Chris O’Connor was the local hero with several top saves as Bray frustrated Shamrock Rovers to hold them scoreless at the Carlisle Grounds for the fourth match running.

Australian O’Connor made his first terrific stop on 13 minutes when tipping away Ollie Cahill’s 30 yard volley.

Bray striker Paul Byrne hit a post just before half time, but Rovers remained the better side.

O’Connor again excelled to deprive Rovers’ Shane Robinson on 64 minutes before saving once more from the visitors' skipper in the final minute.
