Blues pair out

Chelsea are without Nicolas Anelka and Paulo Ferreira for their FA Cup quarter-final at Coventry.

Anelka has not recovered from a bruised toe, and Ferreira is out for the season with ligament damage sustained in training this week.

Ricardo Carvalho and Michael Essien will be back for the Blues tomorrow. Defender Carvalho has shaken off a hamstring problem, and Essien returns after six months on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.

Joe Cole remains out with knee ligament damage, and Deco is missing with a muscle injury.
