Ashley Cole yesterday issued an apology following a foul-mouthed tirade that led to him being arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct.

The England and Chelsea defender racked up a £1,000 (€1,124) restaurant bill with team-mates John Terry and Michael Mancienne before unleashing the abuse at police.
