Ashbee a doubt for Tigers

Hull captain Ian Ashbee is doubtful for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Blackburn at the KC Stadium.

Ashbee has had a slight tear in his calf and, with a trip to Fulham next Wednesday in mind, will not be risked unduly by manager Phil Brown.

Striker Caleb Folan is likely to miss out after suffering a groin strain in last night’s FA Cup defeat of Sheffield United but Craig Fagan is back in contention.

Fagan has been training again this week after minor knee surgery.

Andy Dawson is set to play his final game before a one-match ban while Kevin Kilbane is available again after being cup-tied.
