Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has seen his fortune slashed by around US$9bn (€7bn) in the financial crisis, according to a Russian business magazine.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has seen his fortune slashed by around US$9bn (€7bn) in the financial crisis, according to a Russian business magazine.

Finan’s magazine today published its annual rich list, and although Abramovich has held on to second place among Russia’s wealthiest, a fortune valued last year at $23bn (€18bn) is now down to $13.9bn (€10.9bn).
