Scott McDonald missed the chance of the half after 15 minutes as Celtic dominated the Old Firm derby against Rangers at Parkhead.

The Australia international failed to connect properly with a cross from Hoops debutant Willo Flood from just six yards out.

The home side controlled what was a poor game but could not get near Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor again as the Light Blues set up camp at the edge of their own box.
