Maloney suffers relapse

Celtic midfielder Shaun Maloney is a major doubt for Sunday’s Old Firm derby at Parkhead.

Maloney returned for the Homecoming Scottish Cup win over Queen’s Park last week after recovering from a hamstring injury which had kept him out since December but the problem flared up again in training this week and manager Gordon Strachan will assess him before selecting his team.

Skipper Stephen McManus has recovered from a knee injury but defender Mark Wilson is out for four weeks after undergoing a pelvis operation.
