Hiddink confirmed as Chelsea boss

Chelsea have confirmed Russia coach Guus Hiddink will manage the club until the end of the season, in a statement on their official website.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made the move for Russia coach Hiddink following the club’s decision to sack Luiz Felipe Scolari on Monday.

The Russian Football Union gave their backing for discussions to take place.
