Carvalho doubt for Blues

Chelsea are waiting on defender Ricardo Carvalho ahead of their home clash with Hull City.

Carvalho is struggling to recover from a hamstring strain and will have a late fitness test.

Michael Essien and Joe Cole (both knee) are still sidelined for the Blues, but new loan signing Ricardo Quaresma – from Inter Milan – is in line for his Chelsea debut.
