Menseguez in line for Baggies bow

Argentinian winger Juan Carlos Menseguez could make his debut for West Brom in tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League relegation clash with Newcastle at The Hawthorns.

The 24-year-old signed on loan from San Lorenzo only minutes before the end of the winter transfer window.

Baggies boss Tony Mowbray has doubts over the fitness of striker Jay Simpson, who suffered a hamstring injury during the FA Cup reversal at Burnley in midweek, while full-back Gianni Zuiverloon is suspended after collecting five yellow cards this season.

But midfielder James Morrison should be available despite his hamstring tightening up again in the 2-2 draw at Hull last weekend, which marked his return after a three-week absence.
