Canaries go for Gow

Norwich have signed Rangers forward Alan Gow on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old was linked with a move to Carrow Road last summer before joining Coca-Cola Championship rivals Blackpool on loan. He then saw a move to Wolves scrapped after he failed a medical.

The Canaries are now waiting for international clearance for Gow – and fellow loan signing Chris Killen – to face Wolves at Molineux tomorrow night.

Boss Bryan Gunn told the club’s official website, www.canaries.co.uk: “I’m delighted to secure Alan on loan until the end of the season as there were a lot of other clubs looking to sign him.

“Alan has already played in the Championship for Blackpool this season so he knows the level and the standard down here. He can play in a variety of positions so that will be important to us.”
