The Angola international, who is at the club from Manchester United until the end of the season, featured as a substitute in last week’s defeat by Arsenal.

Defender Kamil Zayatte is available again after suspension but forward Craig Fagan serves a one-match ban and Kevin Kilbane is cup-tied.

Anthony Gardner (thigh) is still not match fit while Nick Barmby (calf) is also sidelined and George Boateng (knee) is a long-term absentee.
