Rodallega having Wigan medical

Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega is having his medical today ahead of confirming his £4.5m move to Wigan.

Providing there are no problems, the 23-year-old, who secured a work permit 10 days ago, is expected to finalise his transfer by the weekend.

However, the striker, who has been playing for Mexican side Necaxa, is unlikely to be available for Wednesday’s visit of Liverpool as manager Steve Bruce is looking to introduce the player gradually and needs to assess his fitness.
