Finn Harps chairman hits out at false rumours

Finn Harps chairman Derek Wilkinson has hit out at what he calls false and malicious rumours about the club's fundraising campaign.

Wilkinson says there have been claims circulating locally that the club does not have a financial problem and recent fundraising appeals are only a new way to supplement the side's budget.

He says these rumours are affecting the fundraising campaign currently being undertaken to ensure the club's survival and is calling on fans to continue to offer their support.
