Brown brings big guns back

Hull boss Phil Brown is set to restore a number of his players to the side for tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League trip to Everton.

Captain Ian Ashbee, goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, midfielders Nick Barmby and Bernard Mendy and defender Kamil Zayatte were all rested for last week’s goalless draw with Newcastle in the FA Cup.

Zayatte, who is close to agreeing a permanent contract after a successful loan spell, is just one booking away from a suspension.

Anthony Gardner (thigh), Andy Dawson (Achilles) and Caleb Folan (knee) could be back in contention for the Newcastle replay next Wednesday.
