Adams faces first challenge
Tony Adams returned to Arsenal for the first time as a fully-fledged manager this afternoon desperate for his Portsmouth team to end a run of three straight league defeats.
Adams, who lifted 10 major titles in a 20-year career with the Gunners, dropped Jermain Defoe to the bench after the 4-1 home defeat by West Ham and brought in David Nugent alongside Peter Crouch up front.
