Bolton manager Gary Megson made two changes to his side for the Barclays Premier League clash with local rivals Wigan at the Reebok Stadium.

Gary Cahill failed to recover from a rib injury sustained in the defeat by Liverpool on Boxing Day and was replaced by Danny Shittu.

Kevin Davies also returned to the starting line-up and came in for Fabrice Muamba.

Wigan were forced to make a late change after goalkeeper Chris Kirkland suffered a groin injury in the warm-up. He was replaced by Mike Pollitt.
