Celtic fail to break deadlock in first half at Falkirk

Celtic defender Darren O’Dea’s goal-line clearance from Steve Lovell’s shot was the most dramatic first-half incident in an entertaining Clydesdale Bank Premier League encounter at Falkirk.

The champions dominated possession but in the 32nd minute Lovell rounded Artur Boruc and sent his shot from a tight angle goalwards.

O’Dea, in for injured skipper Stephen McManus, got back in time to clear the ball off the line.
