Bench duty for Berbatov

Dimitar Berbatov is likely to be on the bench for Manchester United’s Club World Cup final clash with LDU Quito in Yokohama tomorrow.

The £30.75m Bulgarian has recovered from a virus, but Alex Ferguson feels his lack of match sharpness will cost him a starting place.

Ferguson is expected to make a few changes from the side that defeated Gamba Osaka on Thursday, with Park Ji-sung among the definite starters.
