Celtic midfielder Aiden McGeady will miss the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at Falkirk.

The Hoops midfielder, 22, was excluded from the first team for a fortnight and fined two weeks’ wages following a dressing-room bust-up with manager Gordon Strachan after last Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hearts. McGeady will also miss the Old Firm game at Ibrox next week.

Midfielder Shaun Maloney is out with a hamstring injury on Sunday – while midfielders Barry Robson (thigh) and Massimo Donati (broken toe) and striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (groin) are still all missing.

Provisional squad: Boruc, Hinkel, Caldwell, McManus, Wilson, Naylor, Nakamura, Scott Brown, Hartley, McDonald, Samaras, Mark Brown, Sheridan, Crosas, O’Dea, Mizuno, Caddis, McCourt.
