Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins will undergo a late fitness test tomorrow for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham.

Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins will undergo a late fitness test tomorrow for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.

The Nigeria international suffered a groin injury moments before scoring his side’s second goal in the 3-0 win at Portsmouth last weekend, and manager Joe Kinnear will give him until the last moment to prove his fitness.
