McShane absent for Hull

Hull are forced into a change for tomorrow's Premier League visit of Sunderland with on-loan defender Paul McShane unable to play against his parent club.

The right-back's absence could see Bernard Mendy pushed back from the wing or, with left-back Andy Dawson fit again after an Achilles injury, Sam Ricketts could switch flanks.

Forward Craig Fagan (broken leg) and centre-back Anthony Gardner (thigh) are both back in contention after lengthy absences but neither are likely to start.

Striker Caleb Folan, who recently underwent a minor knee operation, is the only player currently on the sidelines.

Provisional squad: Myhill, Mendy, Turner, Zayatte, Ricketts, Marney, Ashbee, Boateng, Barmby, Geovanni, King, Cousin, Garcia, Halmosi, Windass, Doyle, Hughes, Giannakopoulos, Dawson, Gardner, Fagan, Warner.
