Derby suspend Carroll

Derby have suspended goalkeeper Roy Carroll for two weeks following a “heated verbal exchange” with manager Paul Jewell.

Chairman Adam Pearson has confirmed action has been taken over the incident that took place after Saturday’s home defeat to Crystal Palace, but insists Carroll’s career is far from over.
