Connor takes over at Dundalk
Former Bohemians and Sligo Rovers boss Sean Connor was confirmed this afternoon as the new manager of Dundalk FC.
He takes over from John Gill, whose contract wasn't renewed at the end of the season in spite of him helming the side to top flight promotion.
Connor has been out of work since his contract as Bohs manager was terminated 12 months ago for undisclosed reasons.
A legal case between the Phibsboro club and their ex-manager was settled out of court last week, and it's believed Connor received a six figure sum as a result.
Connor was to be officially announced as the new Dundalk boss at a press conference on Monday evening
